F&B Supervisor

Join us at Revier, a new and innovative hotel concept curated in Switzerland which is exclusively located in the Burj Khalifa district.

Your Tasks:

  • Extend a warm greeting in an inviting environment so that the guests feel welcome.
  • Ensure proper sequence of service to create exceptional guest experiences, executing on requests in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Follow the intuition to anticipate each guest’s likes or dislikes to add a personalized touch that creates a special memory.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the food and drink menus, ingredients and what is unavailable for the day.
  • Ensure employees work together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
  • Inspect grooming and attire of all colleagues and rectify if required.
  • Complete scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor. Check stock and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Assist in managing inventory, control breakage/loss reduction of china, glass and silver related to restaurant services.
  • Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all restaurant space, public areas, and service areas.
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change always required for expected business level and keeping bank secure.
  • Communicate last call at designated closing time.
  • Ensure guest privacy and security i.e. any confidential guest information is not disclosed.

Other Requirements:

  • On cancelled or visit visa who can join immediately.
  • An outgoing personality with love for people, restaurants and creativity.
  • Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience as F&B Supervisor, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle hotel restaurant/bar.
  • Thorough knowledge of all F&B menu including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
  • Baseline knowledge of wines and spirits.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence a wide variety of audiences/ stakeholders.
  • Physically able to bend, push, pull, lift and carry weight.
  • Flexible to work in varying shifts that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Languages:

  • Professional fluency in English (written, verbal and spoken).
