Guest Service Agent

Join us at Revier, a new and innovative hotel concept curated in Switzerland which is exclusively located in the Burj Khalifa district.

Your Tasks:

  • Greet every guest with a gracious smile, a positive attitude and ensure that guests feel welcome
  • Follow the intuition to anticipate each guest’s likes or dislikes to add a personalized touch that creates a special memory
  • Handle guests’ check-ins/check-outs, room assignments and room change/late check-out requests in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Inform guests with savvy knowledge of hotel, the services, about the city and neighborhood ‘happenings’
  • Follow up on all arrivals, special requests, rate changes, room changes, account and reservation inquiries
  • Ensure guest privacy and security i.e. any confidential guest information is not disclosed
  • Comply with hotel payment policy as it relates to cash, credit card, account to company, vouchers, third party and international currency, etc.
  • Encourage up-selling to maximize revenues
  • Be proficient with hotel operating systems to answer, log and process all guest calls, requests, queries or concerns
  • Operate telephone station including wake up calls as required
  • Complete night audit procedures by running specified reports, complete balancing checklist to balance with room inventory, comps and voids report with appropriate back u
  • Follow and complete night audit checklist and prepare the night audit packet. Email reports as needed, including the distribution of the daily financial report
  • Adjust easily and do not hesitate to wear a variety of hats to support the guest experience, such as acting as a concierge, lobby host or reservations as the situation demands
  • Seize any opportunity to go beyond the expectations of the position to assist with a guest’s needs, help a co-worker and fulfill a reasonable request by a manager
  • Aware and comply with all ‘statutory’ trainings, protocols and operational procedures mandated by UAE Government

Other Requirements:

  • On cancelled or visit visa who can join immediately
  • An upbeat and cheerful personality
  • Passion for people, creativity and multi-tasking
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a guest contact role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle hotel
  • Intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Prologic, Service One, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred
  • Flexible to work in varying shifts that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays

Languages:

  • Fluency in English (reading, writing and verbal)
